"I love going to fusion-type restaurants, and let me tell you, this place was fantastic. The chef is Guatemalan, so everything is definitely infused with a unique flare. I went there on Tuesday night for the first time with 12 other family members. I cannot say anything negative about any of the dishes I tried.....Highly recommend!"
"Perhaps the finest dining experience in the state."
"Chef Luis keeps pleasing the guests with excellent food and the best service in town"
"Chef Luis is a real gem. The menu choices show originality and sophistication. Owner, Luis, takes great pride in his kitchen and the customer experience."
"Great chef in this small restaurant, about to expand. Food is consistently excellent. Love this place"
New York Times - Restaurant Review
THE SPACE A cheerful storefront with tile floor, sponged-ocher walls and outdoor seating in front in warm weather. Street level, wheelchair accessible.
THE CROWD Lots of families early in the evening, couples and foursomes later, many groups in their 30s and 40s, most of them casually dressed. Staff is friendly, if sometimes harried.
THE BAR Entrance to restaurant is through the Boquitas Bar, a separate room with a few stools and high tables; the bar menu has 12 choices of snacks. Small international wine list, with more from Spain than other countries; bottles from $26; eight wines available by the glass, from $8 to $14; B.Y.O. as well, with $15 corkage charge.
